Bitty & Beau's creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities while serving excellent coffee with genuine kindness. The staff made us feel truly welcome, and their smiles and dedication made the experience unforgettable. An inspiring place that reminds us that inclusion makes our communities stronger. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were talking by and stumbled upon this gem about 10 minutes before closing time. We were looking in the window and decided to come back during business hours. A nice employee welcomed us in and told us that there was no problem showing up that close to closing. We both tried the April special, a tiramisu latte. Very tasty. Good service and tasty coffee. Would definitely recommend.

This coffee shop is a favorite of my family’s. We love to make a trip here. You are greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in and can’t help but feel accepted, loved, & happy! The coffee is amazing, they have kid friendly drinks (my son loves the cotton candy frappe or the frozen hot chocolate), & gluten friendly options!

While visiting Florida, my sister insisted that we make a stop at Bitty & Beau’s Coffee—and I’m very glad we did. It was actually in the opposite direction of our travel plans, but we made the detour anyway. We only intended to grab a quick coffee to go, but before leaving we took time to look around and learn more about the story behind this incredible place. Bitty & Beau’s was founded by Amy and Ben Wright, parents of four children—Lillie, Emma Grace, Beau, and Bitty. Lillie has autism, and Bitty and Beau have Down syndrome. After learning that more than 80% of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are unemployed nationwide, the Wrights created a coffee shop where people with disabilities are valued and given meaningful employment. The original location opened in Wilmington, NC in 2016, and the mission has continued to grow. The coffee was very good, but what truly makes this place special is the atmosphere. You immediately feel the warmth, pride, and purpose the moment you walk in. This visit really hit home for me. This would have been an incredible place for my brother to work, had circumstances been different. If I lived near a Bitty & Beau’s, it would ab
